We love staying at The Carriage House Inn in Aiken. The location is perfect - easy walking distance of all the downtown shops, restaurants, and everything that makes Aiken such a charming town. The Inn itself is beautiful and full of southern charm. Our room was in the Main House and was very clean and quiet. We especially appreciated the warm hospitality and the relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. If you're looking for a unique place to stay with historic charm, a great location, and friendly service - we highly recommend The Carriage House!

The Carriage House Inn had a fascinating history. The rooms were clean and had a sitting area away from the bedroom. The balcony view was lovely at night and I had a view of the courtyard and fountain. The Main House had a library and many antiques. The Inn offered a lovely breakfast with cook to order eggs. I learned a lot about the history of Aiken, South Carolina. We stopped there on our way home from the OBX, but would definitely go back to The Carriage House Inn to visit many of their local attractions.

Absolutely stunning property, beautifully & elegantly furnished with exceptional service and attention to detail. It was an absolute treat staying at this beautiful property. I felt like a princess! Will definitely stay here again. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were fantastic. Surprisingly affordable and absolutely worth it.

The Carriage House is a wonderful Inn! It's very close to good restaurants in Aiken and the staff was very kind. A special "shout-out" to Andrea who was so very helpful to me. My husband uses a walker and Andrea saw me loading our luggage by myself. She quickly took over the cart and would have loaded the car had I let her. I am only sorry that we could only stay one night.

We had a lovely suite with a balcony overlooking the beautiful courtyard. We were warmly greeted and found the rooms comfortable. The breakfast was great - the fruit was fresh, some of the best grits I've tasted, the setting lovely. I especially appreciate the woman who took care of the buffet- she was friendly and attentive. Finally, the location was excellent- we easily walked Downtown and enjoyed the local nearby restaurants. I highly recommend The Carriage House.

This place is amazing. The clerk at the front desk was extremely polite and welcoming. The attendant who made breakfast was friendly and inviting. The downstairs area is absolutely beautiful. It feels like home, and beats any hotel stay. The room was very comfortable and quiet for a good nights sleep. I would highly recommend anyone to stay a night or more, whether local or out of towners like we were. Thanks for a great impression!

I loved my stay here. It was such a lovely, quaint place. My room was so enjoyable, as was the outdoor porch area and lovely courtyard. It was great to go on foot and walk around town. I had a great dinner at The Oyster Bar and Grill. The staff were wonderful and kind. I would love to stay there again!

I’m always hesitant booking online only going by pictures, but I can say the pictures did not do this place justice. It’s absolutely beautiful! The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Beautiful southern hospitality at it’s finest. The ladies who made breakfast were so kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back. It was well worth the money.

Your inn and staff were wonderful. I so appreciate y'all working with me in switching my room so I could use the elevator.  A comfortable bed, warm shower with soft, fluffy towels, an extra blanket and a tasty breakfast every morning.  As a bonus, I got to see the baby birds in the lantern outside my room fledge - bonus !!!!

We were in town for a wedding and the charm of The Carriage House Inn was phenomenal! The decor was just what one would expect from a Southern Home in the heart of “Horse Country”! Our suite was very roomy, including the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast buffet was 10/10, all cooked and served by Andrea! It’s in the heart of Downtown which is very convenient to popular shops and restaurants! Ample parking, which is ALWAYS a plus! The main house has numerous rooms but the additional rooms in separate buildings, only a courtyard away from the main house makes it the perfect spot for families who want to spend time together for Vacation, Weddings, Reunions etc... We will DEFINITELY be back!

What a quaint, cute, and quiet place for mature adults. Front desk staff was kind and gracious. Historical atmosphere. Easy walking distances to a lot of small shops, pubs, chain and local restaurants. Nice breakfast set up for guests.
