 Aiken Symphony

The Aiken Symphony Orchestra, a not-for-profit IRS 501(c)(3) organization,  brings a dramatic enhancement to the music culture of Aiken, South Carolina. Established in 2015 by founding board members Thomas Hofstetter, David Allen, Doris Begley, Sandy Costanzo, and Beverley Zigelman as well as founding Music Director & Conductor Dr. Donald Portnoy, the Aiken Symphony represents an ensemble of some of the best professional classical instrumentalists from South Carolina and Georgia.

Agape Chocolates

Agape Chocolates is a small family owned and operated chocolatier in the Central Savannah River Area that makes chocolates the old fashion way (by hand).  We strive to deliver our customers the best chocolates they have ever had. We choose the name Agape Chocolates because we believe it reflects our mission to “take a bite out of childhood hunger one bar at a time”. The word AGAPE is Greek for “selfless love”; love extended to ALL people (not to mention a nod to my Greek heritage)! In Latin, it translates to “caritas” which is where we get the word CHARITY.

Board In Aiken

We are best friends who found each other in adulthood even though we grew up in the same small town. We couldn't have more opposite personalities, but we find that's what makes us click! We share a passion for creating, planning, laughing, and drinking wine. Both of us are boy moms and love the active, busy days that raising boys brings - but in the small moments of downtime, we find ourselves constantly brainstorming...with a glass of wine, of course!

Cork & Cap Bottle Shop

Husband and wife team Erin and James created the concept for Cork & Cap on their first date. Since then, James, a wine professional, and Erin, a marketing and local food advocate, have always dreamed of opening their own neighborhood bottle shop—a space to offer the wine, beer, cider and conservas they've spent a lifetime loving and learning about. After six years, they finally decided to make their dream a reality—in one of their favorite places on Earth—Aiken. Cork & Cap brings an incredible selection of wine and beer to downtown Aiken, in a lovingly restored historic cottage, with opportunities to taste and learn about the products we believe in.

Aiken Yoga is small yoga studio located in the heart of Downtown Aiken. Owned by Sarah Acord, this small business has a huge following! They offer a ton of class options- Vinyasa, Hot 26, Pilates with Props, Yin Yoga, etc... Take a step into the world of yogi’s and learn more about who you are!
